Children's Activity
Teachers: Sometimes when children are younger, the significance and possible explanation of a particular story are not understandable. For these stories it is sometimes better just to retell the story. The story of the transfiguration is possibly one of these. You will need light brown construction paper, white construction paper, paper fasteners, glue, scissors, and glitter. On the light brown paper, have the children draw a hill that is as large as the paper by just rounding off two corners. In the middle of the hill draw simple figures of Jesus, Moses, and Elijah.
