Appreciating our baptism
Children's Activity
Teachers or Parents: Generally, not much thought is given to
our own baptism except perhaps when we see a baptism or we hear a
sermon on the subject. Baptism, however, is something that our
children need to be reminded of so they will appreciate the work
of the Holy Spirit who comes to us in baptism, enlivens our
spirit, and forgives our sins as Peter says in Acts 2:38,
"Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus
Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive
the gift of the Holy Spirit."
