Judy appeared at the door. “Your two o’clock appointment is waiting for you.”

“Send them in.” Brian smiled as Tom came into the room. “Tom! You didn’t say anything about coming to see me when I saw you at church on Sunday. How’s the fundraising project coming?”

“Not too bad.” Tom sat in an offered chair. “We’ve got a decent committee and are making some headway with the guidelines the board laid out for us.”
