PETER: (ENTERS ALONG WITH JAMES AND JOHN) James, I know what happened but I can't believe it.
JAMES: I know what you mean, Peter.
JOHN: But Jesus commanded us to tell no one what we have seen.
PETER: Okay, I won't tell anyone what I've seen. I'll just talk about what I felt. I was really afraid.
JAMES: Me too. I couldn't get over it. When Jesus' clothes started to shine, I didn't know what to think.
JOHN: I was afraid too, but should we talk about it?
PETER: It's all right. Jesus just meant we shouldn't tell anyone who isn't one of us. How about when Elijah and Moses appeared?
JAMES: I wonder why they showed up? And why Moses and Elijah?
PETER: I don't know. I didn't know what to say. I still don't.
JAMES: Well, it's something we'll never forget.
JOHN: That's right.
JAMES: I'll tell you what, after what Jesus has been talking about lately I'm glad we had something exciting happen.
JOHN: Do you mean his talk about dying?
PETER: Yeah. Can you believe it? Boy, he really gave me the going over for telling him he wouldn't suffer and be killed.
JAMES: Yeah. He called you Satan.
PETER: Don't remind me.
JAMES: I agree with him.
PETER: (PUNCHES JAMES) C'mon.
JOHN: Certainly not. You're not as smart as Satan.
PETER: Okay, okay, I don't want to talk about that.
JAMES: I should think not.
PETER: I want to talk about what happened on the mountain.
JOHN: What about the cloud?
JAMES: And the voice. That was the voice of God.
PETER: No kidding.
JOHN: "This is my beloved son, hear him."
JAMES: And then the cloud disappeared.
PETER: And Moses and Elijah disappeared.
JAMES: I don't know what it means but I know I felt great.
JOHN: I guess we needed to feel great about Jesus being the Son of God. I think he's preparing us for something in the future.
JAMES: Yeah.
JOHN: That great feeling seals it for me.
PETER: I know I'll never doubt again. This experience is it for me. I'll never doubt Jesus or anything he says again.
TOGETHER: (CLAPPING EACH OTHER ON THE BACK) Yeah!
