Call To Worship
Leader: Come now for worship, all who know Christ as your Lord and Savior!
People: Even while we were lost in our sins the Lord sought us to lead us home.
Leader: Many have tried to draw us astray, but the Lord is our loving Shepherd.
People: Our Good Shepherd died so that we might know of God's great redeeming love.
Leader: Christ, the true branch of David's house, offers us eternal life.
All: Blessed be the name of the Lord!
Collect
Almighty and just God, in Christ You sent us the one true and righteous branch through which we may have salvation and eternal life. Lord, give us the strength to share the Good News. In Christ we pray. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
Lord, we have thought of ourselves as righteous, and yet we have failed to see the sin in our lives. Too often, Lord, when we have fallen short of what You created us to be, we have made up excuses and pleaded like children that "everyone else is doing it." Forgive us, Lord, and help us take responsibility for living our lives as Your faithful servants. In Christ we pray. Amen.
Hymns
"The Lord Is My Shepherd"
"My Faith Looks Up To Thee"
"Praise Him, Praise Him"
Proper 29 (Christ The King)

Leader: And all who know Christ know also the very heart of Almighty God.
People: God was in Christ, redeeming us and calling us to receive eternity.
Leader: Let us then celebrate the fullness of God in Christ our blessed Savior.
All: Blessed be the name of the Lord!
Collect
O God, it is staggering to imagine that You walk with us and would commune with us at every chance if we would but come to You. Lord, help us make way for more time in prayer with You. In Christ we pray. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
Lord, so often we have allowed the daily chores and toils of life to draw us away from spending quality prayer time with You. We have even sought to hide in the activities of the church, rather than make time for You in our lives. Forgive us, Lord, and help us realize the wonderful gift You have given us to share our lives with Almighty God. In Christ we pray. Amen.
Hymns
"Be Thou My Vision"
"Tell Me The Story Of Jesus"
"Majesty"

Collect
O God, in the cross we come face to face with all of the hate, sin, and rejection the world could deliver, yet Your love was victorious, and we have salvation. Help us to share it with others. In Christ we pray. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
Lord, so often we call out for You to be with us, yet we will not open our eyes of faith and see Your presence; or we ask for Your guidance, yet we try to tell You the ways we want to go.
