PETER PULPITPOUNDER, B.D.
NOT OFTEN is the urge to be a boy again satisfied so well for preachers as when they go calling. Not that pounding sidewalks and stormdoors is in itself a fountain of youth, although such exercise has its merits. For it is not in going to or from a home that the preacher is made to feel like a boy again. Rather, it is the conversation which takes place once the caller is inside the door which sometimes gives him this boyish feeling.
