Good morning, boys and girls. How many of you like to study geography? And how many of you have a globe at home like this one? Or maybe you have one in your classroom at school. I think globes are great fun. They are even more fun than maps because you can turn them over and see the bottom of the world or see how shape comes into the study of relationships between continents and countries. Even as a child, when I studied the globe I wanted to go right around the world and visit as many parts of it as I could. Have you ever felt like that? When I look at this globe, I see great big patches of it that I have never explored. I don't know how the people live, or what the countryside looks like in so many places. Though I've been here and here and here and even here (indicate), I still have so much of the world that I've yet to see. Can any of you point to places out of this country to which you have been? (Responses -- Allow several to indicate places. Respond positively to their adventures.)
Do you know that Jesus talked about this world with his disciples? He was concerned that God's love should reach every person on earth, even though He knew that He could never get to travel there and tell them the good news of his Father himself. So, he told his disciples to go into all the world and tell people about God. That process is still going on and there are still a few places where that message has not reached. Have you ever thought that maybe God would use you to become one of those people who goes to a land far away to teach them about God's love in Jesus Christ?
God continues to call people to that task. Sometimes we call them missionaries; sometimes they are just tourists or business people who share God's good news with others as they travel. We can all share God's good news with other people, can't we? I hope you will learn to do that.

(Prayer: God, let us be about the business of sharing our faith to Jesus with all of the world as He told us to.)
