Leader: Give to God first place in everything --

Leader: God through Christ holds all things together --
People: From God through Christ comes our strength and peace, our patience and joy.
Collect
We give thanks to you, O holy One, for swooping into the darkest realm of our lives and sweeping us into the light. We give you thanks for overcoming our weakness with your strength. We are grateful your concern about your creation extends to persons, one by one. Through the living Christ. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
You continue to save us, O God, because you cherish what you have made. You claim us as part of your prized creation. You grant us freedom to move beyond deliberate separation from your way. Strengthen us so we might reach toward your truth and build on the foundation that you give us through Christ. Amen.

"[Ye][You] Servants Of God" Tune: HANOVER
"How Firm A Foundation" Tune: FOUNDATION
"Rejoice, Give Thanks And Sing" or "Rejoice, The Lord Is King" Tune: DARWALL'S 148TH
