We ask that you continue to pour your Holy Spirit upon each of your people, and daily increase in them your gifts of grace: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and fear of the Lord, the spirit of joy in your presence: through Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord.
C: Amen.

P: The Lord be with you.
C: And also with you.
P: Lift up your hearts.
C: We lift them to the Lord.
P: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
C: It is right to give him thanks and praise.
P: It is indeed right and salutary ...
... that our darkness should give way to his own brilliant light.
C: (music in book) You are the source of our faith; Living Water, lead us on!
P: God of all holiness,
by your power you make all things holy.
The creation echoes your praise.
The rivers flow with your mercy.
In the desert the nomads gathered
to water their flocks by your wells.
In the cities the poor and needy were washed clean
by the words of the prophets.
And to all who were hungry and thirsty for life
your Son took bread and gave thanks,
broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying,
"Take and eat;
this is my body, given for you.
Do this for the remembrance of me."
And after supper he took the cup, gave thanks,
and gave it for all to drink, saying,
"This cup is the new covenant in my blood,
poured out for you and for all people
for the forgiveness of sin.
Do this for the remembrance of me."
C: (music in book) You are the source of our love; Living Water, lead us on!
P: Lepers cleansed, blind given sight:
Love flows like water from your riven side.
Drenched in tears we stand in amazement at your empty tomb
and call again for you to come.
C: (music in book) You are the source of our hope; Living Water, lead us on!
P: So now we ask for your Spirit who hovered over the waters
to come to this meal and to these lives,
that your justice might flow
and your mercy prevail.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit:
your love for us has no end.
C: (music in book) You are the source of our life; Living Water, lead us on!
