Calls To Worship And Other Worship Resources
Pastor: Life is like the salmon swimming upstream in the fast-flowing stream. Every second or third juicy-looking morsel has a hook in it just waiting to catch the eye and to entice us to swallow that deadly barb.
People: That lethal hook may be an attractive person who doesn't belong to us, or a yearning for power that waits to destroy us, or upgrades that we think will make us more important, or money, or pretty baubles that seek to capture us.
Pastor: With our track records, we know that we have little resistance to the enticements in life that seek to control us and then consume us. So come and join me in worship. Open your life to the Holy Spirit, that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, may enter the sanctuary of your being so that, in His holy love, you may know freedom from life's deadly lures.
Medley
"Set My Spirit Free"
"Lord, I Lift Your Name On High"
Pastor: Feel the fresh breeze of the Holy Spirit blowing through the temple of your soul, bringing to you the freshness of redemption, the healing of divine forgiveness, and the hope found in renewal that we may claim in the promises of our God.
Medley
"As We Gather"
"We Bring The Sacrifice Of Praise"
"Clap Your Hands"
Invocation
