The vocation of the adult...
Illustration
The vocation of the adult is often foreshadowed in the interests of the child. There used to be a drugstore in Concordia, Kansas, that had a back room open to the public. There was nothing in the room. Just a lot of drawings on the wall. Albert T. Reid worked in that drugstore as a boy. He was forever drawing pictures on the walls of that room much to the consternation of the druggist. Reid later moved East and became one of the foremost political cartoonists of the last century. If art is inside of you, it is bound to come out. Luke, of course, is standing in awe of the Spirit of the Living God that dwelt in Jesus from the beginning.
