In the story of Jacob wrestling at the Jabbok, Jacob readily tells his adversary his own name, but the adversary is not so quick to tell Jacob his. In fact, he never does.
Two little children were passing a summer day in play. The one child said, "Your name is John, and my name is Jimmy, but does God have a name?" John immediately answered, "Of course God has a name. Her name is Annie." Jimmy asked how he knew that. John replied, "Haven't you ever heard your mother sing that church song, 'An' 'e walks with me an' 'e talks with me'?"
