The other day I attempted...

The other day I attempted to put a rather hefty thread through the eye of my needle. It was an intense battle. I pushed, pulled, and even picked at the tiny filaments working them through the tiny little eye. All of a sudden I began to laugh, as I imagined a camel going through the eye of my needle. It would take a much larger needle to accommodate a camel.
Jesus said it was as difficult for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God as for a camel to go through the eye of the needle.
Zacchaeus was a rich man, and he fit through the eye of Jesus' needle just fine. All it took was turning around and getting a different perspective. Maybe if we all went out of our way to climb a tree, or get out to see the road on which Jesus walked, the camels and the needles wouldn't be so funny.
