Our world is more and more one of "specialized languages." It is hard for the chemist to explain to a mechanical engineer what she is doing in her lab and it is hard for an accountant to explain what the problems and troubles he encounters daily might be to an historian. Physicists, theologians, petroleum engineers, mathematicians, house persons, car mechanics, politicians, biologists, doctors, electricians, and hundreds of other vocations, professions and specialties are all called on to live together, to interact with one another in such a way that they create a livable society.
