Did you ever wonder why Mary went to the sepulcher?
She had many excuses not to go. Too early in the morning to get up. It had been a hectic week and she could use the rest. Besides all this, she did not have the physical strength to roll the stone away from the mouth of the tomb. But, here she was, very early in the morning on her way to the tomb.
In answer to the question, "Why do you go to church every Sunday?" the woman replied, "I just don't feel right if I don't go." Perhaps this was why Mary went to the tomb; she would not have felt right if she had not gone.
We find the answer to many of our problems and our worries in church. Mary worried about the stone that sealed the tomb. How could she roll the stone away from the mouth of the tomb? Her worry vanished when she arrived because the stone had been rolled away before she arrived. Many times our worries are rolled away before we arrive at the scene of our troubles.
