As I read this Scripture...

As I read this Scripture, I thought of a story I heard a minister tell about a man who took his twelve-year-old son to church. That night the father was called on by the pastor to lead in prayer. The father prayed unusually. loud. On the way home the young boy said to his father, "Dad, if you would live a little closer to God, you would not have to holler so loud to get him to hear you when you go to church."
Whether the story is true or not, it reminds us of John's admonition when he said, "My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth."
Love is something that you do. Jesus said, "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if you have love one to another." (John 13:35)
