John Davison drove by Lester...

John Davison drove by Lester McWiggins' barn every morning for 23 years. The old gray building was just part of his everyday scenery. But after Wednesday evening's Community Theater board meeting, McWiggins' barn began to look a little different.
The 40-year-old theater group was a community institution and had many supporters and solid grant support. Unfortunately, the building they had leased for many years was being sold and the theater would have to relocate. After weeks of searching for a property, the board was about ready to give up. But then McWiggins' barn had given John an idea.
Lester McWiggins and his late wife Helen had always been devoted supporters of the community theater, and John thought that perhaps the board might be able to persuade him to donate the barn to the theater. Sure enough, John was right. Lester was impressed with the dedication, enthusiasm, and drive of the Community Theater board. They were committed to making the Helen McWiggins Theater a reality. Lester believed in them and donated the barn in memory of his late wife.
Eighteen months later, Lester's heart was bursting with pride as he gave a toast to his beloved wife from the stage of the Helen McWiggins Theater.
Great things can be accomplished when a group of people believe.
