Luz Cuevas never gave up...
Luz Cuevas never gave up hope that her daughter might be found alive. Six years earlier, in 1997, her ten-day-old daughter, Delimar, had vanished from her crib when an explosion and fire occurred in her bedroom in Philadelphia. Investigators determined that the blaze had destroyed the remains of the infant. But, on January 24, 2004, Cuevas was attending a birthday party for a little girl in Willingboro, New Jersey, fifteen miles across the Delaware River from the Cuevas' Philadelphia home. Attending was a little six-year-old girl, Delimar Vera, who Cuevas recognized as her own child.
