David knew all the harm Absalom had done but still he had his father's heart. David still longed for his son to be saved.
Jimmy was only four. One day while he was with his mother shopping in a very large department store, they got separated. For just a moment when she realized that he was missing, his mother panicked. Then she heard a familiar voice calling her name, "Marjorie, Marjorie."
She rushed over and sure enough it was little Jimmy. She scooped him up and hugged his neck. "Jimmy," she said, "I was afraid you were lost." "Oh," said Jimmy, "I knew where I was, but you were lost." "Well I'm glad you found me, but why did you call me Marjorie instead of mommy?" "I tried that first," said Jimmy, "But you'd be amazed how many wrong Mommies there are out there."
