A traveling salesman got caught...

A traveling salesman got caught in one of North Dakota's famous snowstorms. He struggled into a little town and tried to decide what to do. He wanted desperately to get to the next town but weather reports and police warnings indicated he should not go. He began anyway.

About 10 miles down the road he became stuck in a drift. Sitting quietly - and frustrated - he tried to think what to do next. Suddenly he heard a tap on his window. "My God, man! What are you doing here?" asked the salesman.

Object: The object of the lesson is a gesture you will teach the children.

Note: The gesture used both hands. Hold both hands in front of you and make the thumbs-up sign with both hands with both thumbs pointing back at your chest. This is the “ME!” gesture. Then simply rotate your hands back so your thumbs are pointing straight up in the air, like two “OK” signs. This is the “US” gesture.
