Throughout Western culture there is much talk and not a little frustration with the state of the Christian Church as we near the end of the twentieth century. We -- the Church -- are not who we once were, nor are we yet what we are to become. We are, instead, what we are. What we are to become requires a new vision for a new era aborning, and how we are to become that vision realized demands both the voice of new prophets in the land, and a willing obedience of a servant Church before its Lord. -- Saxon
