A computer programmer at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh has come up with an alternative for people who just do not seem to have the time to get to confession. On your computer you can use a modem to dial into a program, enter what your sins are, and the computer program will answer back by telling you what your penance is. It seems that about 200 to 500 people make use of that computer confessional each day. Jesus began his public ministry by urging people to repent. What are the ways that we offer people to do that and to free themselves from their sins?
