I once knew a man...

I once knew a man who was a very bright and successful doctor. He graduated from high school at 16, and from college at the age of 19. He was a very hardworking individual who had no time for God and the church. I once asked him about his faith and he told me that "he saw no proof for the existence of God." As our discussion continued, he went on to tell me that "he didn't believe in the God that is worshipped by people who consider themselves Christian." He said, "Doesn't it sound a little like a fairy tale -- God becoming a man, taking on our flesh for the purpose of dying on a cross?" Using the power of reason, he couldn't believe in Jesus. He couldn't understand that Christians look at life through the eyes of faith. -- Frank
