Information explosion! The amount of data doubles at ever-
increasing rates. Soon there will be six, seven, and eight billion people populating the earth, each soul adding personality, ideas, and discoveries to the collective mind. It might have once seemed relatively simple for God to number the hairs on our heads when the world had tens of millions of people, but now there are so many more, and with products like Rogaine there are even hairs replacing those thought to have been lost. How can God value us in the midst of all that is and is becoming? A small neighborhood hardware store had a reputation as a place where you could find what the big chains did not carry. When a customer walked in, he or she was likely to be intimidated by the piles and bins of hardware items which created narrow aisles that were nightmares for those who were a little claustrophobic. There did not seem to be rhyme or reason to how items were arranged. But the proprietor could tell a person exactly where to find the right bolt or screw. He cared about hardware, and he cared about customers, so he made a point of knowing exactly where every item was stored. God knows about creation, and cares about us, and makes a point of knowing exactly what we need and where we can find it.
