There is something different about our age. With the advent of the computer in this century, our lives have been dramatically changed. Information is at our fingertips -- literally. Homes can be governed by a computer, from turning on the lights to watering the lawns, from cooking food to closing the drapes -- and so much more. Newspapers, which always had the headline news, weather update, sports section, and business page, now have daily computer coverage -- even their own websites. Cars are "smart" and can talk to the driver, telling which direction to turn to get to a desired location and braking on its own if an object is too close to the front of the vehicle. This Information Age or Electronic Age is an era far beyond the Stone Age and the Agriculture Age and the Industrial Age. Yet, as Christians, we see Christ superseding all of the ages with a power from his death and resurrection that ultimately will fulfill all things, the likes of which not even a supercomputer can begin to simulate.
