Which is more interesting? Which is more likely to get your attention: when you hear someone talking about how two people are in love and all the nice things they do for each other, or when you hear someone talking about the juicy details of why two lovers are breaking up? You know the answer. We might spend a couple of minutes chatting with each other about how nice the wedding was that we recently attended. But if we ever hear about a couple whose love is on the rocks, that's something we can spend hours talking about.
The issue is whether we want to focus in life on the good or on the evil. If all we focus on is the evil, the day is coming when we won't have anything more to talk about.
