Someone once referred to sharing...
Someone once referred to sharing the Good News of Jesus as "the sacrament of sound waves." This became true for Peter's audience in Cornelius' house. They were graced with faith while listening to Peter's witness to Jesus. This faith was evidenced in their "speaking in tongues and extolling God." It was sealed in their baptism. A fellowship of hospitality resulted: "They invited them to stay for several days." All this was due to sound waves generated by oral witness to Jesus and received by active listening in Cornelius' home by "his kinsmen and close friends."
