Good morning, boys and girls. I brought two vines with me this
morning. If you were one of these vines, which would you like to
be? (Hold up the two vines and let them answer.) This branch is
healthy and looks alive. (Hold up the healthy vine.) This vine is
dead. (Hold up the dead vine.)
For this healthy vine to grow it takes plenty of sunshine,
water, and trimming off dead spots. The dead vine stopped growing
because it didn't have sunshine and water.
