Why is it that when unanticipated little happenings take place in church they often seem very funny? Someone drops the offering plate and change rolls all over the floor. One of the keys of the organ sticks and a b-flat sounds out until somebody pulls the plug. Someone sneezes at the most inopportune time of the sermon -- and so on. When something mildly funny happens in church it seems to be twice as funny than if it had happened anyplace else. We tend to remember these incidents.
