Verse 34 of the reading...

Verse 34 of the reading suggests a time will come when the people of Israel will no longer have to teach their fellow countrymen to know the Lord, because all will know him, from the least to the greatest.
This was not the case for that thoroughly German patriot, Martin Luther. The great reformer spent most of his days teaching his fellow countrymen to know the Lord. He restored the clarity of the new covenant to such a degree that gradually his fellow countrymen did know the Lord, from the least to the greatest. Through Luther, both peasants and princes in Germany embraced the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Through the work of Martin Luther, the words of Jeremiah in verse 34 came true in a new day, and a new way.
