Roberto’s family spent three evenings moving from one house to another while continuing to work full-time during the day. Consequently, when they finally got to bed late on Thursday night, they fell into the sleep of the exhausted. The phone rang at 2:30 a.m. As Roberto stepped out of bed to answer it, he walked into the bedroom wall. The call was a wrong number, and Roberto went back to bed, reminding himself that he was in a completely different house now and the walls and furniture were in different places. Those who hear Jesus speak about eating his flesh and drinking his blood are disoriented. Their religion has had centuries to construct an intellectual building of faith. They know the beliefs and doctrines. Jesus, however, comes along and not only moves the mental furniture he completely remodels their house of faith with his very body.
