The pastor was one of the first people in his congregation to learn about the tsunami that devastated much of Indonesia and other parts of Asia in December 2004. Though not aware yet of how widespread the death and destruction were, he had a glimpse of what was to come from the initial reports he saw before worship that morning. When he took it before the people of the church the "eyes of their hearts" were opened and they responded with their prayers ... and with their wallets.
