"Pastor," Elaine began, "my mother wants to know who she will be married to when she dies and goes to heaven. Do you know?"
"What do you mean?" Elaine's Pastor asked.
"Well," Elaine began, "it's a long story. During the Second World War, my mother met her first husband. His name was Tom. Tom was killed during the war. Several years after the war ended, my mother met and then married my father. His name was Glen. He died when I was 14. Four years later, Mom met Peter. They dated for four years before they got married. Peter died two years ago. Now Mom has cancer. She's been told that she doesn't have long to live. She wants to know who she'll be married to after she dies."
"Perhaps your mother should be asking a different question," Elaine's pastor replied.
