The parents of a nine...

The parents of a nine-year-old boy were frustrated with their son because they couldn't get him to practice the piano. He wanted to quit, but his parents wouldn't permit him to quit. One day, as his father was saying good night to his son, he said to him, "Did you practice your piano today?" "No," replied the boy, "I forgot." "You forgot!" said the father. "How can anyone forget to practice the piano?" To this the boy replied, "I guess if you want me to practice, you are going to have to remind me." The Jews had been in bondage in Egypt. Through mighty acts, God had gained their freedom. To help the Jews to remember what God had done for them while they were slaves in Egypt, God created the Passover. One of the reasons for Passover is to help the Jews to remember what God had done for them. This was God's way of reminding the Jews so that they would not forget what the Lord had done for them in the past.
