Paperwhites are a flower from...
Illustration
Paperwhites are a flower from the daffodil family. With green leaves and stems topped with delicate white flowers, they are a wonderful sign of spring. But paperwhites are also a finicky flower. If the bulbs are planted at the wrong depth they will produce strong leaves but few flowers. Too much energy is used by the bulbs producing the plants and there is not enough left to produce the real object of the plants, which is the delicate and beautiful flower.
