An older man came into a new boat showroom. He ran his hand along a sleek fishing
boat. "A beauty, isn't she?" the salesman said.
"Yes," the older man said, "I've been looking forward to buying one of these for a long time."
"Do you fish much?" the salesman asked.
"Not since I was a kid, but I'm retired now."
"In that case come with me." He took him behind the building to a boat parked against the back fence. "Here," he said, "is a boat that would probably fit your needs."
"What do you mean? This one is used. At least its paint is faded. Why not a new one?"
"I've sold this boat many times to men who were going to begin fishing when they retired."
Paul could trust Christ at his dying because he was in the daily habit of trusting Christ while he lived.
