Emphasis Preaching Journal

My friend grew up in a Christian home. He takes great pride in describing the roles he played in the church Christmas pageants every year. He was baby Jesus. He was an angel. He was a wise man. Seems like he played about every role over the years. He particularly liked the role of Wise Man as they brought their gifts of gold, incense, and myrrh. Pretty impressive, I suppose. A young college student bringing rich gifts. We don't think of it that way these days. College kids don't have gifts. They are borrowing their way through college on the promise of repayment when they get that first job.
