My coworker's fiancée's birthplace outlawed Christianity. As a young man he became a convert to Christianity. He and several friends met secretly for Bible study on different days at different sites so they would not be detected. One night as fifteen met sharing God's word, the door opened and several men with weapons entered the room and began to shoot and slash their way into the midst of the group. My friend and one other man escaped the slaughter of that horrific night. He made his way to the United States and began attending a seminary where he earned his degree in ministry.
