Most Americans are only vaguely acquainted with hospitality the way it happens in the East. But Dave learned what it meant to be welcomed in a new way when he became good friends with some immigrants from Lebanon. They had invited him to come over one evening for dinner and to bring his family. While he had emphasized that his whole family would have eaten long before arriving, still when he arrived an entire feast was set and waiting. There was no option but to eat - not to eat would have been rude.
