A good name is the fruit of a life of integrity, dignity, self-respect, and service to others. Most of us will not be known beyond our own community or town. It is what we do that determines, for the most part, what is said about us. We are not responsible for false impressions nor how others perceive us. Perceptions are subjective to the perceiver's biases. The more well-known you are, the more likely you are to be favorably spoken of. The world protects its heroes. Solomon is a case in point.
