God truly works in mysterious ways to call his servants. When Robert Moffat, the famous
Scottish missionary to South Africa, came back to the British Isles to recruit helpers for
his work in South Africa, attendance at his meetings was very low. He had high hopes for
one church, but the weather was bad, and the only ones attending were some older ladies
who were able to walk to the church. Even so, he gave his message, and issued an
