Final words are words that people remember. John Wesley's final words were, "The best of all is, God is with us ..." and Henry Ward Beecher said, "Now comes the mystery." Thomas Alva Edison said, "It is very beautiful over there." And Elizabeth I, queen of England, supposedly said, "All my possessions for a moment of time." Louis XIV of France said, "Why do you weep? Did you think I was immortal?" And Jesus from the cross said, "Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit." Those final words of Jesus were not so final, were they?
