A farmer advertised for a worker, and several applicants came looking for the position. He interviewed them, one by one, and didn't find any of them to be quite what he was looking for. Then came a young man who answered all the questions with, "I can sleep when the wind blows." Did he know how to build a haystack? "I can sleep when the wind blows." Did he know how to take care of the cattle each night? "I can sleep when the wind blows."
The farmer decided to hire the young man, even though he didn't quite understand what this was all about. Then one night came the big storm. The farmer hopped out of bed and hurried out to see if all was well. The haystack was covered and weighted down properly. It would survive the storm. The cattle were all in their stalls, and every door was securely fastened. Everywhere he looked, he was relieved.
The young man had spoken correctly. He could "sleep when the wind blows."
