Elie Wiesel, the great writer...

Elie Wiesel, the great writer who spent part of his childhood in a Nazi concentration camp, tells a story about a young prophet who went to the wicked town of Sodom to warn the people there about the consequences of their sins. For years he preached to those people and all the while they ignored his message. Finally, he grew quite old, but still walked the streets of Sodom crying out his message of warning. One day, a child asked him, "Old man, why are you doing this? Can't you see that it changes nothing?" The old man replied, "Yes. Now I know that I will not change anything. But if I continue to shout, it is because I do not want the sin here to change me."
