Children of privilege often do not fully appreciate all the blessings they have. The doctor and his teenage son walked into the showroom of the local Chevrolet garage. They were interested in a Corvette, the doctor told the salesman.
After looking at several beautiful cars, the father told the son that he didn't think a new car, at a price of over $50,000 was possible, and that they should go look at the used cars. The son was very unhappy with that decision and picked up a nearby tool and broke the passenger door window on a new Corvette. "Now you'll buy this for me," he said. With that the father wrote a check for the full amount and the car was theirs.
