Betty has done just about every thing there is to do in her church. She has served on every committee and has even gone the second mile by visiting the sick and taking meals to shut-ins. Her husband, however, doesn't want anything to do with Jesus, the church, or religion of any kind. He can't understand why she wants to spend so much of her time doing "church work," as he calls it. Over the years her involvement in the church has so angered him that he has actually threatened to divorce her. Yet, she continues to be devoted to the Lord and his work.
