Arthur Schopenhauer, the German philosopher...

Arthur Schopenhauer, the German philosopher, once said: "Wealth is like sea-water; the more we drink, the thirstier we become." And a recent survey proves that that saying is true. Americans with household incomes under $25,000 said that on average it would take $54,000 a year for them to be able to live the American dream. But when those who made $100,000 were asked that same question, they responded that it would take about $192,000 a year for them to live the American dream. No matter what the level of income is, the desire is always for more.
