Anyone who has lived on...
Illustration
Anyone who has lived on or visited a farm will know that roosters love to crow in the
morning. But is that because they are programmed to do so or is it because they are
awake and why not crow? Roosters also crow when they are attempting to mark or
protect their territory. They crow to assert their authority over other roosters. They crow
when they hear hens cackling and they crow when they hear other roosters crow.
