Although many churches have suffered over the years from scandals, one denomination always seems to keep its reputation rather pure. And that denomination is the Mennonite church, or what most people would call the Amish. But it turns out that even the clean-living Amish can fall victim to temptation. For instance, in the 1920s a Mennonite community was formed in Mexico, just south of the border. For years, the border guards just waved the Amish people through as they entered the United States, figuring that there certainly was no point in searching them for illegal materials.
