SHARING THIS WEEK'S GOSPEL THEME AT SUNDAY SCHOOL AND AT
HOME
Materials:
White 8.5 x 11 paper
Scissors
Pens, pencils, markers, crayons
Optional stickers for decorating cover
Yarn cut into 24" strips
Directions:
1. Help the children fold their paper in half (either direction is fine) then cut the paper along the fold line.
2. Lay one paper half on top of the other and fold them carefully, together, like a book. Use the yarn to "bind" the book, tying it at the top or bottom of the book.
3. Title the books "When I Grow Up."
4. Ask the children to write or draw one thing on each page to show what they might like to do or be when they grow up. They may decorate the pages, as well.
5. If time allows, ask the children to share their books with the class.
